New Year at The Waterfront 

At the centre you have a choice of so many different fitness activities it never has to be boring and with the busy period ahead why not have a look at all the activities on the web site or call in and speak to the staff. We can help you get the year started, as you mean to go on and improve your fitness and quality of life for 2012. We can offer different activities in all area’s of the centre, from the pool, to the Gym, to the fitness classes and with so many different payment options with everything from 12 month passes, to Pay as You Go, to 40 Euro 1 Month Passes you can use the centre and pay for it how it suits you. 

 RLSS POOL LIFEGUARD QUALIFICATION

A RLSS Pool Lifeguard course will be held at the Waterfront during the Easter break.

Monday 2nd April – Friday 7th April 2012. 9am-6pm daily. Cost of course €250. All applicant must be 16yrs and over on starting date. Contact reception for more details.

The Waterfront Treadmill Challenge

The challenge starts next week, its 300km from The Waterfront in Enniscorthy to The Waterfront in Belfast. When your using the treadmill just track your distance for the challenge. To register just contact a member of staff and we will track your progress on a wall chart. The prizes are, 1st is a 3 Month Gym Pass, 2nd is a 1 Month Gym Pass and every person who completes the distance will get free gym sessions.  

POOL WEEKEND DOUBLE SESSIONS

There will be more double sessions on the weekends starting from the 5th November. The double sessions will be on a Saturday from 3pm-4.45pm and 6pm – 7.45pm. The Sunday double sessions are 11am – 12.45, 3pm – 4.45pm and 6pm – 7.45pm.

2012 CHILDRENS SWIMMING LESSONS 

THE REBOOKING FOR THE NEXT TERM OF LESSON’S WILL BE ON THE WEEK OF THE 20TH FEBRUARY. THIS TERM STARTS THE WEEK OF THE 5TH MARCH 2012, SO IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO GET YOUR CHILD STARTED IN OUR EXTENSIVE SWIMMING PROGRAM THIS IS YOUR NEXT OPPORTUNITY. IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS PLEASE CONTACT THE CENTRE. 

 1 MONTH OFF PEAK MEMBERSHIP

The 1 month gym membership will entitle people to use the gym Monday to Friday up to 5 pm. The membership is 40 euro and can be taken out at any time for 4 weeks. For more information please contact the centre.

TABLE TENNIS

We have a table tennis table available for anybody who would like to play the game. It costs just €10 per hour with a maximum of 4 players per hour. We can supply the bats and balls for the hour. If you are interested in playing please call in and play or book in advance to be sure the room is available by contacting the centre.

PARENT & TODDLER SWIM SESSIONS

The parent and toddler session’s will be on the following times from the week of the 21st November and those times are 1 pm on a Monday and 2 pm on a Thursday .

 It will be for children from 6 months too 3 years of age. The sessions will run weekly on a pay as you go basis so no pre-booking is required. Parents will need to be in the water with the children. For more information please contact the centre.

 U 3′s now go FREE

Children u 3 now go free at The Waterfront when you come in for an open session with one adult. This makes the double sessions at the weekend even better value for that family swim. If you have any questions please contact the centre. 

WHITE FLAG AWARD 2011/2012

IlAM (Irish Leisure & Amenities Management) have been running the White Flag Award for the last 10 years, it is an award which recognises leisure centre’s which meet the standards set down by ILAM. These standards cover all area’s of the industry, from customer care, cleanliness, health and safety and many more. We are delighted to be one the centre’s who have received the award for 2011/12  and a huge thank you to all the staff of The Waterfront esp the white flag co-ordinators Colin and Joanne.

FITNESS CLASSES

All our Fitness Classes are back on a regular basis for 2012. To see the full list of classes and times please check out our schedule page or contact the centre.  All the classes last for 45mins and cost 6 euro per person or 2 people for 10 euro.

Now with every 12 month and 6 month leisure pass, receive all fitness classes free just swipe and ask at reception.

LOYALTY CARD

The fitness Class Loyalty card means you can now come to all the Classes here at the Centre and get great value. For every 8 visits you will get 1 free class. What more encouragement do you need to enjoy the great AQUA, SPINNING, KICKBOXING and BODY CONDITIONING CLASSES in the centre.

CAR PARK SPECIAL

Now when you take out a 6 or 12 month leisure pass, you get free parking for your training. So when you come in and swipe your card the receptionist will validate your ticket. The only condition is you have to be using the centre.  For further information, just ask at the centre. 

The Children’s Lessons here at The Waterfront have been running for the last 10 years. All the Swimming Teachers here are all qualified Swim Ireland Instructors. The pool is split into 5 level’s so we can catch for all abilities from 5 year old and up.  We run the lessons as 8 week blocks throughout the school year, so for the next rebooking please contact the centre for further information.  Cost: €60.

ADULT LESSONS

Its never to late to learn how to swim or even just to improve your confidence in the water for holidays etc. We run the adult lessons on a Thursday at 7pm for 8 week terms the same as the children’s lessons. But unlike the children’s lessons you can book in anytime for the next running term. So for information on the next term please contact the centre.  Cost €60
